Haskins Automotive is seeking a full-time experienced Service Advisor.

Haskins Automotive is a full-service independent dealer shop located in downtown Wellesley.

All inquiries will be handled in strict confidence.

Automotive Service Advisor Job Description:
Initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records. Strong customer service and communication skills are required.

Schedule is 7:30am- 5:00pm Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday per month 8:00am- 1:00pm.

Automotive Service Advisor Job Duties:
-Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment.
-Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
-Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
-Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.

Skills/Qualifications:
-Sales driven individual who is extremely organized and goal oriented
-Self-starter with capability to implement and develop new processes
-Successfully communicate with others with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
-Minimum of three years of experience as an automotive service writer
-Service advisor experience focused on European brands is preferable
