Overview
Registered Nurse – Postpartum with lactation specialization (RN-IBCLC or CLC) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This travel assignment starts 07/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,007–$2,164 per week with 32 hours guaranteed per week. Shift is 8-hour days, 4 days per week (8x4). Work setting: hospital postpartum unit, with a focus on lactation support for mothers and newborns. Locals may be considered; note: bill rate is $8 less than posted.

Responsibilities
- Provide lactation support for postpartum patients, including assessment of lactation needs and development of evidence-based care plans in collaboration with IBCLC/CLC qualifications
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status, document progress, and adjust plans to promote safe and effective feeding
- Educate patients and families on breastfeeding techniques, latch, positioning, bottle feeding alternatives, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with obstetric, pediatric, and nursing teams to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document in the EMR (EPIC) and participate in care rounds and handoffs as part of the care team

Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license with NURSYS license verification within the last 7 days
- Certifications: BLS and NRP; IBCLC or CLC certification required at submission
- Experience: 1–2 years RN experience; 1–2 years lactation RN experience preferred
- EMR: EPIC experience required or preferred
- RTO requests must be included at submission and may not be guaranteed after confirmation
- Ability to work in a hospital postpartum setting and participate in a 32-hour guaranteed week
