Billing specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Invoice Processing

• Generate and process invoices accurately and on time.
• Review billing data for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Ensure proper application of pricing, discounts, and taxes.

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Assist in reconciling billing discrepancies and identifying errors.
• Maintain and update billing records in the system.
• Support the preparation of billing reports and statements.

Customer & Internal Support

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing issues.
• Work closely with internal departments, such as finance and sales, to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Provide documentation and support for audits as needed.

Process & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and financial regulations.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Follow standard operating procedures for billing activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, billing software, and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience with high-volume billing processes.
