Senior Project Manager, Medical Device Software

Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the medical device software development sector. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of multiple, complex projects. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will ensure project success by expertly managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships from kickoff to closure.

What You'll Do:

  • Agile & Team Leadership: Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. Coordinate essential design, architecture, and code reviews, as well as unit and functional testing cycles.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, issue logs, and project health metrics. Oversee the timely review and approval of project timesheets and complete all project closure activities.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of our project delivery processes. Assist the pre-sales capture team with project estimation and scoping as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 3-5 years of direct experience managing software projects in the medical device field or a similar regulated industry.

  • Demonstrated experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Proficiency with project management and development tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Trello.

  • A proven track record of managing project financials, including budget, forecasting, and resource planning.

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and best practices.

  • Exceptional Communication: Superior listening skills and the ability to articulate complex technical and logistical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Strategic Problem-Solver: A natural curiosity and the ability to ask probing questions to identify the root cause of issues and devise effective solutions.

  • Adaptability: The flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing technologies and requirements.
