Job Description
This role directly supports production and manufacturing operations for radiation detection and instrumentation equipment, working in a laboratory environment to ensure high-quality, reliable products.
Responsibilities
- Support daily production and manufacturing activities for radiation detection and instrumentation equipment.
- Operate within a laboratory setting, following established procedures and good manufacturing practices.
- Perform testing on products and components to verify functionality and quality.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and testing, using both technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Use computer-based tools and systems to document work, record test results, and track production activities.
- Work with glovebox equipment as needed to safely handle materials and components.
- Collaborate closely with engineering partners to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Maintain an organized individual workstation and ensure it remains clean, safe, and compliant with internal standards.
Essential Skills
- At least 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably supporting production operations.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of production processes and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Ability to perform testing on products and components.
- Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues in production or testing.
- Comfort using a computer for documentation, data entry, and basic applications.
- Experience working with glovebox equipment or similar controlled-environment tools.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering partners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a production environment related to radiation detection or instrumentation equipment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with structured testing procedures and documentation practices.
- Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Work Environment
You will work primarily at your own workstation within a laboratory-based manufacturing environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Watertown, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
