Deloury Construction Company Inc., Merrimack Valley Massachusetts based heavy civil construction company with several upcoming projects within a 60-mile radius of our corporate office, is currently seeking to add a Civil Construction Superintendent who is experienced in heavy civil construction to our team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop with Project Manager, refine and update the project schedule
• Complete knowledge and understanding of contract drawings/specifications
• Understand project costs and manage company assets
• Create and manage project documentation
• Coordinate project operations including labor, equipment, subcontractors and material resources
• Knowledge of all regulations to ensure all aspects of the project are compliant
• Provide leadership and maintain effective working relationships with the on-site staff
• Enforce Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Core values
• Forecast and develop look ahead reports, daily crew lists and manage field activities to ensure project completion date is met
• Lead weekly foreman meeting – when applicable
• Develop two-week forecast to proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions.
• Identify change orders and potential change orders
• Maintain regulatory compliance for projects
• Ability to interface and maintain good relationship with clients

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

• Civil Engineering, construction-related degree, or proven work related experience within this job title preferred with no less than 10 years of progressive responsibility supervising construction projects
