Speech Language Pathologist K-5Boston Speech Therapy is excited to invite applications for the role of Speech Language Pathologist for grades K-5. In this position, you will provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and enhance their academic success. This is a full-time position, a 1099 contract until the end of the year.
As a speech-language pathologist at Boston Speech Therapy, you will work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that align with each student's unique needs. Responsibilities::
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff to support their learning.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Educate families about speech and language development and effective communication strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-5 students and familiarity with the educational setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Commitment to best practices in speech and language therapy
Full-time
1099 contract till the end of the year
$80-90 per hour
