Part-Time Occupational Therapist School Setting - Boston, MA
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide part-time services within a K-12 educational setting located in Boston, MA. This role offers a contract from August 25, 2025, through April 17, 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on leave needs.

Responsibilities include supporting students ages 3 to 19 who are deaf or hard of hearing, primarily assisting with evaluations and delivering targeted occupational therapy services. The position requires working approximately 16 hours per week during the school year, focusing on promoting the functional independence and participation of students in academic and social activities.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Occupational Therapy license and relevant credentials
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those who are deaf or hard of hearing, is a strong asset
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) or a willingness to learn ASL through school-provided lessons
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary team members
This role supports the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing students educational outcomes. The provider will participate in evaluations, documentation, and ongoing intervention as part of a multidisciplinary team.
