Solution Architect
Responsible for managing changes across an entire solution and/or has ownership for the end-to-end solution design and implementation technical oversight through to transition into Production for existing large clients and new logos. For Implementations: - Ensures individualized solution incorporates clients' and Acxiom's overall business strategy and technical vision. - Engages in all solution communications with client and engage in its progress throughout the implementation phase. - Has ownership for the end-to-end solution design and implementation technical oversight through to transition into Production. For existing clients: - Activities are focused on client consulting for proposed changes, process improvements, issues or research of client data inquiries. - An associate in this role is functioning independently as the technical Subject Matter Expert in at least two components but has working knowledge of all solution components. - They are expected to provide solution consulting for the client and create and maintain a solution roadmap for future enhancements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Delivery & Design
-
Lead and support projects for existing Acxiom clients and new logo customers, including ongoing solution consulting and enhancement management

Design and implement scalable Acxiom solutions aligned to client objectives and Acxiom's overall solution vision

Translate business requirements into high-quality solution designs that meet functional, technical, and operational needs
-
Gather stakeholder requirements and convert them into process flows and actionable solution plans
-
Evaluate solution approaches based on cost, compatibility, usability, and scalability
Solution Architecture & Ownership

Own the accuracy, quality, integrity, and long-term sustainability of client solution architecture

Develop, maintain, and evolve client solution roadmaps, incorporating technical direction and standard Acxiom components
-
Ensure solutions consistently meet performance expectations and service level agreements (SLAs)
Client Engagement & Communication
-
Partner with clients using a consultative approach to guide solution strategy and execution
-
Communicate effectively with mid- to senior-level stakeholders, tailoring messaging to technical and non-technical audiences

Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value and outcomes
-
Anticipate obstacles and proactively recommend solutions that balance client needs, feasibility, scalability, and business objectives
Technical Leadership & Execution

Provide technical leadership across implementations, enhancements, modifications, and issue resolution efforts
-
Lead design creation, requirements elicitation, and planning with limited guidance from senior architects
-
Operate as a fully functional, self-directed contributor across projects and major change initiatives
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, research, and solution optimization
Support & Issue Management
-
Provide Tier 3 technical support, including researching and resolving complex solution issues
-
Monitor project and enhancement progress to identify risks, challenges, and optimization opportunities
Process Improvement & Standards
-
Apply and promote adherence to Acxiom standards, methodologies, and best practices
-
Identify and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, profitability, and client value
-
Maintain deep knowledge of Acxiom Delivery Methodology, including design, project management, and change management
Organizational & Product Knowledge
-
Develop expertise in Acxiom's organizational structure, tools, Delivery Methodology, and Solution Center Framework
-
Maintain knowledge of Acxiom products, services, and industry trends to align client needs with available solutions
-
Share best practices, case studies, and lessons learned across teams
-
Provide feedback to product and business teams to enhance offerings and meet evolving client needs
Leadership & Collaboration
-
Demonstrate leadership within implementations and major projects
-
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members involved in solution delivery
-
Partner with account management and internal teams to communicate solution value and drive client success
Pre-Sales Support
-
Contribute to pre-sales efforts including solution scoping, estimation, and feasibility assessments
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
-
Minimum 2 years experience in technical roles and/or architect roles
-
Minimum 2 years experience with database marketing, direct marketing or interactive marketing environments
-
Minimum 2 years experience working in an external client facing environment
-
Minimum 2 years experience with change management procedures
Preferred
-
Minimum 4 years of Acxiom experience
