We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Litigation Paralegal with in-depth knowledge of the auto insurance industry. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal and be skilled in drafting documents and managing personal injury case files.

$65,000 - $80,000 yearly

• Set up a system of filing for our cases that is well-organized and easy to navigate, and other related admin duties
• Discuss potential lien, bill, and medical expense settlements with service providers or insurers

• Create demand letters, prepare demand packages, and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters
• Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
• Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies
• Communicate case status with clients and outside counsel as requested
• Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements
• Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills

• 3-5 years of experience in personal injury case management is required as either a personal injury case manager at a personal injury law firm or an insurance adjuster who has handled personal injury claims.
• Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
• High school diploma is required - a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
