Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health.
• Execute hardscape projects such as patio installation, walkway construction, and retaining wall setup with precision.
• Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to ensure safe access during winter months.
• Assist with gardening activities like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices.
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely.
• Strong understanding of landscaping principles, horticulture, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation.
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
