Senior Specialist - Digital Marketing, Social and Paid Media
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with MWI’s global animal health brand objectives.
- Define channel-specific goals, audience engagement strategies, and KPIs supported by data and insights.
- Implement initiatives to increase reach, engagement, and community growth.
- Plan and execute paid digital marketing strategies across social, search, and display channels.
- Manage media planning, campaign setup, analysis, and optimization to maximize ROI.
- Monitor budgets and recommend improvements to enhance return on ad spend and brand reach.
- Produce a wide range of content forms including video, photography, graphics, and animations.
- Capture, edit, and publish compelling stories suited to each social platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring creative ideas from concept to completion and repurpose content across digital channels.
- React quickly to trending topics and real-time opportunities to boost engagement.
- Manage day-to-day publishing and scheduling of social and paid content.
- Maintain a social media content calendar aligned with business goals.
- Engage with online audiences, fostering community interaction and timely responses.
- Leverage analytics to refine strategy and optimize results per channel.
- Stay current with emerging social trends and platform updates.
- Own performance measurement and reporting for all campaigns.
- Analyze engagement metrics and ROI to generate insights and recommendations.
- Deliver periodic performance reports and data-driven improvement strategies.
- Hybrid role with variable onsite requirements.
- Attend live events to capture and document engaging content.
- Comfortable working around sensitive materials (e.g., veterinary labs, cadavers).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Skills:
- Expertise in integrated digital marketing, social media management, and paid performance campaigns.
- Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing (photo/video/graphic).
- Strong storytelling and audience engagement skills.
- Experience managing SEM/SEO and paid media analytics (ROAS measurement).
- Proficiency with Google Web Suite (Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS (basic knowledge).
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical mindset.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4–6 years of digital marketing experience, including social media, paid media, SEM/SEO, email marketing, and analytics.
- Experience in the animal health industry highly preferred.
- Background in campaign marketing, creative content production, and B2B audience engagement.
