Full-Time | On-Site/Hybrid
Location: Buckhead, GA
Rate: $60,000 - $70,000

Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting team's day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working closely with Senior Accountants, Accounts Payable, and Treasury, this role contributes to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records across the full accounting cycle. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in general accounting, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a structured finance function.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules
- Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed, including collections activity
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations
- Book transactions and prepare reconciliations across multiple currencies including USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP as needed
- Maintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Assist with audit preparation and provide requested financial documentation
- Identify and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a staff accountant or general accounting role
- Solid understanding of the P&L and balance sheet
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
- Experience with NetSuite
