Lead Commissioning Engineer

Locations: Remote - Massachusetts; Remote - New Hampshire; Baltimore; Remote Maryland.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and/or review test plans, commissioning plans, and job sequence instructions for substation and line contractors performing additions and modifications to Electrical Transmission Lines, Substations, Controls, SCADA, relay protection circuits, and associated equipment.
• Act as an agent for the Client and ensure plans are in accordance with the Client’s testing procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commissioning and testing experience.
• Experience with 345kV to 69kV line and substation work.
• Availability for potential extensive overtime and travel within the New England region.
• Ability to review and approve testing guidelines, including:
  • Job Cut-over Write-ups
  • Testing sequence Write-ups
• Review changes to One Lines, Three Lines, Schematics, and wiring prints after issue.
• Develop Job Sequences.
• Track changes requiring Client approval.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• This position pays between $140,000 to $170,000 annually and is an exempt position.
