Quality Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA. The candidate will perform end‑to‑end manual testing for complex capital markets applications while ensuring accuracy across frontend and backend validations.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Manager job responsibilities include:

• Execute comprehensive manual testing across planning, design, execution, and defect tracking for complex web‑based capital markets applications.

• Validate end‑to‑end trade lifecycle processes, including order management, settlements, market data flows, and regulatory checkpoints.

• Perform backend validations using PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.

• Collaborate with globally distributed Agile teams to refine requirements, plan sprints, and ensure high‑quality delivery.

• Utilize Jira for test management, defect reporting, and tracking test progress across cycles.

• Support basic automation tasks using Selenium and Python to enhance regression coverage and testing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in manual testing within capital markets environments.

• Strong expertise in capital markets processes, including trade lifecycle, order management, settlements, and market data.

• Proven ability to perform detailed backend validations using PL/SQL and collaborate effectively with Agile, globally distributed teams.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
