Senior Marketing Program Manager

Our client, a pet food and supplies company in Boston, is looking for a Senior Marketing Program Manager for a 6-month hybrid contract starting in November. This role will help to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale integrated marketing campaigns, and requires strong program management expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while driving results. The Senior Marketing Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns, retail, and vendor-funded programs, as well as a proven ability to build strong relationships and proactively resolve challenges to achieve business objectives.
  • This is a hybrid role and requires 3-days/week onsite in Boston.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels and markets.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs while maintaining oversight of budgets, timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to align goals and ensure campaign success.
  • Develop and manage campaign project plans, including setting milestones, tracking progress, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Oversee vendor-funded program execution, ensuring compliance with partner requirements and maximizing ROI.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks to keep campaigns on track.
  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and post-campaign analysis to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuously optimize program processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing program management or related roles, with a focus on integrated campaigns.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-channel marketing programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in retail marketing and vendor-funded programs.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring program success and delivering actionable insights.
  • Ability to problem-solve, think strategically, and execute tactically.
