JUNIOR SOURCING SPECIALIST

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $31 - 35 per hour


We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Product Development team. This is a specialized role focused exclusively on the front-end strategy and execution of sourcing-not production. You will be the primary link between our design vision and global manufacturing, ensuring our private label products are built on a foundation of quality, value, and compliance.


The Impact In this role, you aren't just placing orders; you are architecting a global supply chain. You will use your deep expertise in data analysis and relationship management to optimize our vendor matrix, negotiate complex pricing, and navigate international trade regulations. Your work ensures that our private label programs are both profitable and scalable.



Responsibilities:

• Works with Product Development Team on the development and approval of private label products. Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze and report data and work in complex excel spreadsheets. Develops and executes product.
• Effectively sources private label programs within Product Development area by building relationships with the Agents, Vendors and Buyers.
• Negotiates prices and determines appropriate order placement based on factory capabilities, quality and delivery.
• Develops and continuously evaluates the appropriate agent/vendor/factory structure for private label apparel.
• Understands duty-free programs and documentation, compliance required.
• Ensures factories are capable of production.
• This is NOT a production position, purely sourcing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Advanced use working with Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas.
• Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to analyze and report data.
• Excellent multi-tasker, able to manage multiple projects/ programs simultaneously.
• Strong and collaborative communication skills, response appropriately in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Able to unify ideas and present to individuals and groups.
