LTC Therapy at RegalCare at Holyoke is offering a dedicated Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) position for a motivated Clinical Fellow to complete your ASHA CCC-SLP requirements at our respected skilled nursing facility.
Your Daily Impact (With Structured Mentorship):
- Conduct supervised evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders, gaining direct experience with FEES , standardized assessments, and advanced tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under mentor guidance, setting functional goals, leading therapy sessions for communication recovery, cognitive strategies, voice work, and safe swallowing (including diet mods, compensatory techniques, and mealtime support).
- Provide resident/family counseling, document precisely with mentor review, and track progress to meet CFY competencies and ASHA hours.
