Now hiring Journeyman Tool Maker for a full-time temporary to permanent position in North Attleboro, MA.

Responsibilities of Journeyman Tool Maker:

-Operate tool room equipment such as milling machines, engine lathes, and surface grinders

-Set-up and monitor machines

-load/Unload parts from machines

-Build, repair and service high-precision tooling

-Repair jigs and fixtures on various manufacturing equipment

-Conduct visual inspection of products

-Perform heat treatments of tool steels

-Work with technologies such as RAM EDM, Wire EDM, and 3-axis CNC router

-Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements of Journeyman Tool Maker:

-Minimum 5 years apprenticeship and 10 years’ experience in precision toolmaking

-Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Carveco, Adobe photoshop

-Mechanically inclined

-Able to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

-Great troubleshooting skills

-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

-Superior attention to detail

-Good Verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Hours: 7:00 am-3:45 pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr
