LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse – Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility
Rate: Up to $1700.00 weekly
Location: Worcester, MA
Day Shift (8H)
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required.
- Experience is ambulatory clinic operations and/or surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with the EPIC EHR system
- Previous experience with suture/staple removal and rooming patients in an ambulatory setting.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patients to ensure their health and well-being.
- Outpatient Clinic/Urgent Care Center
- Wound Care/Wound Vac
- Wound drains/JP/Hemovac
- Simple dressing changes.
- Providing direct care such as administering medications, wound care, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and necessary care.
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records and following policies and procedures for quality patient care.
- Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice nurse, physicians.
