Special Education Teacher - Full-time M-F -4
* Paid holidays include Labor Day, Columbus Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day and Wednesday-Friday the week of Thanksgiving.
* An additional 9 days of sick and personal time are also available. Benefits: * CABI contributes approximately 75% of Health and Dental costs and 100% of Vision costs for full time employees.

* Multiple staff events throughout the school year. Sign on Bonus * $5,000 sign on bonus; $2,500 after the first 90 days and $2,500 after 365 days. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement individual student goals and objections into Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring that they receive appropriate and effective support.
* Creation and execution of daily program curriculum and individualized student education plans.
* Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods as needed to ensure student success in meeting their educational goals.
* Participation in analysis of behavioral data, and the supervision of ABA instructors in the implementation of instructional and educational activities.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and academic achievement for all students. On-site Continuing Education Credits: * As an on-site ACE provider, CABI offers free monthly CEU events to its employees.
* $500 annual stipend towards off-site CEU events annually (i.e., BABAT, MassABA, etc.).
* $250 maximum per event reimbursement
* Direct access to Senior Leadership with a commitment to training and development of staff including a dedicated training week each August. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field, Master’s Degree preferred.
* Massachusetts Special Education Certification or eligibility for certification or waiver in Moderate or Severe Special Needs in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
* Commitment to working with young people with developmental disabilities.
* Displays ability to coordinate with others, contributes to instructional knowledge in identifiable and demonstrated ways, helps resolve conflicts when they arise; always conducts oneself in a professional manner.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and takes ownership of tasks and assignments.
* Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication.
