Floor Steward - Hilton Boston Park Plaza

One of the most historic hotels in city, the Hilton Boston Park Plaza is seeking a full-time floor steward to join their stewarding team! This 1060 room property has a premier Back Bay location just steps away from the Boston Common and the Public Garden, as well as a half mile from Beacon Hill and the Theater District!

The ideal candidate for this position will possess will have two years previous hotel stewarding experience, in a high-volume hotel with a union stewarding team.

Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work both AM and PM shifts as needed, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $31.45 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Floor Steward, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and serviceware for restaurant service
• Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings
• Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments
• Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified
• Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
