Position Overview
The HVAC Technician maintains environmental control systems supporting mission-critical radar operations. This role ensures proper climate control for sensitive equipment and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HVAC systems and components
- Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Repair compressors, fans, motors, and controls
- Monitor building automation systems
- Maintain chillers, air handlers, and cooling systems
- Ensure temperature/humidity compliance for equipment spaces
- Document maintenance actions
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years HVAC maintenance experience
- Knowledge of HVAC controls and systems
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Preventative maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mission critical facilities
- BAS / BMS system experience
- Government facility experience
Work Environment / Clearance
- Onsite secure facility
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in mechanical spaces
