Collections Customer Service Specialist
Our Collections/Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing a full range of credit and collections support for our US customer base. At Reiser, we view our Collection Specialists as an extension of our Customer Service department with a goal to not only collect on amounts due, but to also ensure that Reiser customers are properly serviced. Day to day tasks include researching, analyzing, detecting, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
- Make regular collection calls.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Resolve cash application discrepancies.
- Research product return problems.
- Resolve customer issues related to billing.
- Regularly interact with Regional Manager and sales representatives regarding the status of customers’ accounts.
- Timely identify paid machines and ensure that customer and machine files are properly updated.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in business related field preferred but not necessary
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior collections experience is preferred.
- Experience with Ariba and other similar portals is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Spanish Speaking is a plus.
