Job Title: RN – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Hyannis, MA

Type: Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 36 Hours/Week | Every other weekend/holiday

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Function as charge nurse when required
• Provide guidance to ancillary staff and participate in patient care coordination
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital policies
• Support patient education and discharge planning
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
• Utilize computerized nursing information systems effectively

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
• Strong IV skills (IV starts, administration)
• Experience with ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
• Strong communication skills in English

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Licensure / Certification:

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams (per CCH requirements)
• TNCC, ENPC, PALS – Preferred
• De-escalation Certification – Preferred

• Patient assessment and triage proficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork
• High attention to detail in documentation and safety compliance
