School Bus Driver (Part‑Time)

NRT Bus | Abington, MA

No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training.

Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements? Sign-on Bonus of $2000

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $33/hour increases to $34.65 on 9/1/26

  • Paid Training: $20/hour

  • Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour

• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)

• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays

• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events

• Drive assigned local routes

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections

• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle

• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff

• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements
  (or willingness to obtain — we train!)

• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one

• Safe driving record

• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience

• Ability to pass background check & drug screening

• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

NRT Bus provides home-to-school bus transportation for students in areas throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
