Site Risk Officer
Job Title: Site Risk OfficerLocation: Framingham, MAAbout the JobThe Site Risk Officer is a critical role within the Site Portfolio Management Team, responsible for leading the standardized and comprehensive risk management process at the site level. This position plays a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential threats and vulnerabilities that may impact site operations and organization.We deliver 4.3 billion healthcare solutions to people every year, thanks to the flawless planning and meticulous eye for detail of our Manufacturing & Supply teams. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve lives.Main ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Risk ManagementLead the standardized and comprehensive risk management process at the site level.Identify and assess potential threats, vulnerabilities, and their impacts on operations and organization.Provide a relevant site risk picture under a standard process, regardless of risk nature (industrial, quality, HSE, material, etc.).Foster robust decision-making, prioritization, and resource allocation.Manage the site risk portfolio to ensure development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.Risk Mitigation & MonitoringDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce the probability and severity of risks.Follow up on remediation plans through de-risking curves.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures.Governance & CollaborationLead site risk governances and foster interactions with product line management.Align site risk remediation priorities with product strategy and product shortage prevention plans.Establish strong links with project portfolio teams and product strategy teams for relevant decision-making.Contribute to site Strategic Plan and budget.Data Quality & ReportingEnsure risk data quality and accuracy in QualiPSO.Maintain relevant risk pictures accessible to senior leadership levels (site leadership, IRM & QRM leaders, product strategy teams).Leadership & Best PracticesProvide leadership expertise to support the site risk community in running the risk process.Foster sharing and application of best practices.Act as the site point of contact for different risk & resilience related topics or global initiatives.Liaise with relevant site functions (e.g., EBI champion, information protection, BCP).Global RepresentationActively represent the site risk function in global risk governances.Support and represent the site in global Risk Management and resilience processes, initiatives, and governance forums.Basic QualificationsExperience Bachelors Degree with minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in which at least 3+ years of experience should be in Risk Management or Risk evaluation.Experience in Leading, structuring and moniroting risks within at a site level.Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Science, Life Sciences or Engineering.Masters Degree in Science, Life Sciences or Engineering.Working experience in QA, Manufacturing Operations or Supply Chain operation in a pharmaceutical or biologics environment.Certification in Risk Management or Project Management is desirable.SkillsStrong leadership and influencing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools.Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulations.Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance standards.Competence in data analysis and reporting tools.LanguagesEnglishWhy choose us?
