Compensation Range: $35-$40/hr W2
Job Description:
The Quality Engineer drives quality initiatives, supports root cause investigations, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards within a manufacturing environment. This role supports the client's need for consistent product quality and efficient issue resolution within manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with strong analytical skills, capable of identifying root causes and collaborating across teams to drive continuous improvement.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis and support investigation of quality issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production and quality concerns
- Manage and track external customer complaints
- Support quality processes within a cleanroom or assembly environment
- Utilize ERP systems to monitor and improve quality performance
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer
- Strong background in root cause analysis and investigations
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance standards
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, ETQ)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in a cleanroom or assembly environment
- Certification in Quality Engineering or Lean Six Sigma
- Experience managing external customer complaints
