Job Title: Patient Access Representative

Job Description

The primary role of the Patient Access Representative is to serve as the bridge between the organization and its patients. The representative will provide product education, address a variety of inquiries, and ensure an exceptional customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the organization and its customer base, including patients.
• Resolve routine customer requests related to products or services through inbound and outbound calls or the Internet.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, adhering to protocol procedures.
• Clarify and confirm customer requirements and ensure their understanding of solutions.
• Provide additional education and information to customers as needed.
• Qualify and establish new inbound customers requesting products and services.
• Research complex issues and questions using multiple databases.
• Notify clients of test results accurately and promptly.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Perform administrative support tasks for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to ensure HIPAA compliance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Worcester, MA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
