Maintenance Technician

**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The primary role of a Maintenance Technician is to ensure that all plant equipment is maintained in excellent working order. This position also involves providing guidance and support to other team members on shift. **Responsibilities** + Keep management informed of any plant maintenance issues. + Repair and maintain all plant equipment and areas. + Actively support and implement preventative maintenance programs. + Utilize welding and electrical experience for repairs. + Troubleshoot and repair issues as necessary. + Ensure repairs and maintenance work have minimal impact on production time. + Follow all corporate and regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. + Attend required training sessions, including GMPs, HAACP, SQF, and Safety. + Be available for on-call and weekend work as required. **Essential Skills** + Welding and electrical experience. + Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. + Strong initiative. + 1 year mechanical experince required, 2+ years preferred. + Ability to read, speak, and understand oral and written instructions. + Basic computer knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED preferred. + Skilled in planning and organizing multiple tasks. + Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and follow through on responsibilities. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with varied daily tasks.
