Systems Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer multi-user systems in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Manage Slack and/or similar collaboration tools, including user provisioning, SSO integration, policy configuration, and app management.
• Administer Atlassian tools including Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence.
• Support and maintain Oracle WebLogic environments.
• Perform Linux-based application maintenance and web application server deployments (e.g., Tomcat).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using containers and cloud technologies.
• Manage containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement tuning improvements.
• Administer Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, proxy, and load balancing technologies.
• Manage virtualization technologies including VM management, snapshots, SANs, and iSCSI storage systems.
• Evaluate audit logs and ensure security compliance.
• Provide incident escalation support and coordinate backup and recovery processes.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards related to computing resource allocation.

Skills:

• Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
• 5+ years of experience maintaining applications in a Linux environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Tosca Automation.
• 5+ years of experience deploying web application servers (Tomcat or similar containers).
• 5+ years of experience with Atlassian Stack tools.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD using containers and cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
• 5+ years of experience with MS Active Directory and LDAP.
• 5+ years of experience managing storage systems.
• 10+ years of overall Systems Administration experience.
• 5+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, Proxy, and Load Balancing technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with virtualization technologies including VM management, snapshots, SANs, and iSCSI.
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server platforms.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
