Transportation Design Engineer - Project Manager
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects, including highways and roadways.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on highway and roadway design and construction management.
- Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively.
- Serve as the primary liaison with DOT agencies, clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to stakeholders.
- Build, foster, and maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term partnerships.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet high standards.
- Monitor project progress, addressing risks and challenges proactively.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field; master’s degree a plus
- Requires at least 8+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, including experience with project planning, design, and construction phases
- Demonstrated experience working with Department of Transportation (DOT) agencies is strongly preferred
- Strong technical expertise in transportation engineering principles, standards, and practices, including proficiency with relevant software tools and design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other modeling software
