Start date: 03/09/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,548-$2,597. Guaranteed Hours: 0.0. Final compensation packages will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Location benefits go beyond the patient floor. Working in Plymouth positions you in a coastal town with deep historical roots, where strolls along the waterfront, fresh seafood, and scenic nature trails harmonize with a robust healthcare network. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse patient population and a supportive community that champions professional growth. For those seeking broader horizons, this opportunity also opens pathways to assignments across the United States, offering exposure to a variety of hospital cultures, patient demographics, and clinical challenges. Whether you prefer staying on the South Shore, exploring the Bay State, or venturing to other regions, you’ll access facilities that prioritize quality care, evidence-based practices, and a team-driven approach. The combination of Massachusetts’ renowned medical resources and nationwide placement options means you can customize your career trajectory while maintaining work–life balance.

Role specifics and benefits. As a PCU RN, you will:
- Provide comprehensive patient care for intermediate-to-high acuity medical-surgical populations, including frequent monitoring, physiologic assessments, and rapid response when changes arise.
- Lead timely care planning, implement evolving treatment plans, administer medications per protocol, and collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary services to optimize outcomes.
- Perform safe patient positioning, wound care, IV therapy, telemetry interpretation, and escalation of concerns with clinical judgment and confidence.
- Mentor less experienced staff, reinforce evidence-based practices, and participate in daily rounding to ensure seamless transitions from ICU to floor, and from hospital to home.
- Embrace ongoing professional growth within the PCU specialty, pursuing certifications, specialty seminars, and cross-training opportunities to expand your scope.
- Thrive in a culture that values patient advocacy, precise documentation, infection control, and patient- and family-centered care.
What you’ll gain beyond clinical expertise: competitive benefits with a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities to align with your preferred workload and professional goals. Enjoy robust 24/7 support from our travel program, ensuring you have a dedicated resource for housing, travel logistics, credentialing, and on-call assistance.
