The Administrative Assistant provides essential communications and coordinating activities that ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the School. This is a public-facing position that requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As the initial and central contact point for all visitors and incoming communications, the successful Administrative Assistant must be conversant in all school policies, positions, and events. The Administrative Assistant makes judgments on prioritizing and routing of communications and must be capable of providing clear direction in cases where urgent action may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workplace tools
- Strong customer service skills
- Communicates, verbally and in writing, in an efficient, courteous, accurate, and positive manner while dealing with multiple tasks
- Maintains well-organized, accurate records and files
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
REPORTS TO: Principal/Administrator
LENGTH OF POSITION: Full Time, 190 days/year (Unit C Contract)
START DATE: IMMEDIATELY
