Join the FLIK Culinary Team in Boston, MA
As the Executive Chef , you will oversee all culinary operations for a Corporate B&I dining account at Mass Mutual in Boston, MA, serving up to 800 guests daily in the café. This account features a complimentary dining program along with a Starbucks retail program built to charge.
As a key member of the culinary leadership team, you’ll also be responsible for driving innovation, quality, and guest satisfaction across all dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 9 kitchen professionals, ensuring culinary excellence and operational efficiency.
Oversee all safety and sanitation standards across the account.
Deliver exceptional catering services, ranging from simple sandwich platters to high-end Board of Directors events.
Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
- Plans and creates all menus
- Purchases and manages inventory
- Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree preferred
- Three to five years of culinary management experience
- High volume production and catering experience is essential
- Previous experience managing cost controls
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
