We are looking for an Auto and Diesel Mechanic knowledgeable in both gas and diesel engines to service our fleet. You will be repairing automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles. This is a great opportunity to join an established tree-care company that has been providing services to residential customers as well as many municipalities and utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, service, and maintain our fleet of equipment.
- Work in a safe manner with a well-maintained work area.
- Perform service road calls and/or towing as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic for gas and diesel vehicles
- Hydraulic knowledge, welding, and towing experience are a plus.
- CDL Class A or B license preferred
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
