Low Voltage Technician – Fiber Installation (Entry-Level)

Location: Worcester/Dudley MA

Type: Contract / Full-Time Hours

We are hiring Low Voltage Technicians to support a large-scale project focused on expanding affordable WiFi access across Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a career in fiber optics and low voltage installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install fiber optic cable within multi-dwelling units (MDUs) such as apartment buildings
• Run cable through attics, walls, and other pathways
• Pull, route, and secure fiber throughout buildings
• Assist lead technicians with installations and job site setup
• Organize, dress, and properly secure cabling

This role requires working in attics, tight spaces, and physically active environments.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in construction, cabling, or general labor
• Comfortable using hand tools and working in physically demanding conditions
• Strong willingness to learn fiber installation and grow within the trade
• Reliable, team-oriented, and strong work ethic

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Worcester, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
