Chief Financial Officer

Phoenix3 Collective is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO)to lead financial operations across our privately held parent company and its rapidly expanding portfolio of boutique culinary and hospitality companies. This executive role will be central in designing and implementing a centralized financial services model , driving consistency, scalability, and financial integrity throughout the organization and compilation of companies.

The CFO will collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape long-term financial strategy, optimize capital allocation, and build enterprise-wide policies and controls. Responsibilities include managing key external relationships—with banks, treasury providers, legal counsel, and tax advisors—while supporting investment growth, performance tracking, and equity value creation across all business verticals.

Enterprise-Level Oversight & Centralized Services

1. Develop and implement centralized financial policies and procedures that support all verticals under Phoenix3 Collective
2. Design a centralized shared services model for finance, accounting, treasury, and compliance functions to ensure consistency and efficiency across the enterprise
3. Establish and maintain enterprise-wide banking and treasury relationships, ensuring optimal liquidity and risk management
4. Lead the integration of financial systems and reporting across multiple business units, enabling real-time visibility and decision-making
5. Serve as a strategic partner to vertical leaders, providing financial insights and guidance to support operational and investment decisions
6. Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across all entities and jurisdictions

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect and lead the financial infrastructure for a rapidly scaling, multi-entity organization
2. Oversee LLC formation and management, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and legal/tax compliance
3. Partner with IT and Operations to implement financial technologies that support centralized reporting and analytics
4. Collaborate with CHRO to manage a complex equity ownership program across the enterprise
5. Drive enterprise-level FP&A, capital management, and risk mitigation strategies
6. Lead M&A financial due diligence and integration efforts across verticals

Requirements:

1. Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in both start-up and established organizations
2. Background in the hospitality, lifestyle, contract food service, or facilities management sectors strongly preferred
3. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MS Finance) and/or professional certifications (CPA, CFA) are a plus
4. Strong understanding of industry-specific P&L and proforma
5. Demonstrated leadership in managing financial teams and driving results.
6. Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make data-driven decisions.
8. Exceptional strategic, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
9. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
10. Ability to travel to clients or other multi-state sites as needed (estimated <30%)
