About the Role

The Sales professional will lead the growth and development of their Accounts. You will play a key role within the company, having responsibility for developing new partnerships with brands, patient support services, digital, innovation and market access functions within pharmaceutical manufacturers. On top of your own efforts, you will have both sales development representative and marketing lead generation support, and are expected to drive the entire sales cycle from warm prospecting into companies, to securing meetings with senior‑level decision‑makers. You will take the account through a needs analysis, develop and present Medisafe’s solutions and then will be tasked with closing the sale. This position is focused on new business development, and the cultivation and growth of such accounts after they have been penetrated. As a business builder and leader within the company, the Sales professional will be a key member of Medisafe’s growing team, work closely with the Partner Success colleagues supporting current customers and work closely with the sales development representative to support lead generation.

This position is remote and plays a critical leadership role in expanding Medisafe’s footprint within the pharma ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within pharmaceutical manufacturers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Leverage marketing support to generate and qualify opportunities while also independently sourcing and developing new relationships.
  • Secure meetings and build trusted relationships with senior‑level decision‑makers and executive stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep needs analysis to uncover strategic priorities and align Medisafe’s solutions to brand and enterprise‑level objectives.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, value‑based presentations and proposals tailored to pharma brand and commercial teams.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex agreements, including MSAs and SOWs.
  • Design and execute multi‑million‑dollar deals with long‑term growth potential.
  • Cultivate and expand accounts post‑sale in collaboration with Partner Success to ensure long‑term partnership growth and renewal.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce.
  • Serve as a strategic voice within Medisafe, contributing market intelligence and shaping go‑to‑market strategy.

This is a “hunter” role focused on penetrating new accounts while also building durable, high‑value strategic partnerships.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10+ years of outside sales experience selling directly into pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success selling strategic, complex solutions into pharma brands, patient services, analytics, digital, or commercial operations functions.
  • Experience structuring and closing multi‑million‑dollar enterprise deals.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to develop trusted, senior‑level relationships.
  • Existing book of business and established pharma network preferred; agency contacts are a plus.
  • Technology and SaaS sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical secondary data assets and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Comfortable negotiating MSAs and SOWs and navigating complex procurement processes.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Highly motivated, performance‑driven, and passionate about creating measurable value for customers.

Location & Time Zone Alignment

This role requires regular collaboration across U.S. and international teams. Candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred to ensure optimal alignment with clients and global colleagues.
