Corporate Partnerships Officer - Development
POSITION SUMMARY :
Working as a member of the Corporate Foundation Relations team, and reporting to the Associate Director, Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Officer (CPO) will be responsible for engaging corporations and key prospects in the mission and work of BMCHS. The CPO will contribute to the team’s fundraising goals by developing compelling gift opportunities, moving prospects through all stages of the donor cycle, making successful asks, and partnering with providers and internal leaders to engage current partners and build new relationships. They will build and maintain a growing pipeline of donors who have the capacity to make high five-figure and six-figure gifts (and beyond).
The successful candidate will articulate the BMC mission with genuine passion and a clear strategic vision that inspires corporate partners and prospects to invest in key initiatives and supports significant growth in corporate funding. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to identify and advance new revenue opportunities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Engage donors through personal/virtual visits, phone calls, and written correspondence. Manage a portfolio of approximately 40-50 corporate partners and potentially engage in foundation opportunities. Meet, and when possible, exceed set revenue targets. Other metrics to be discussed.
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects to raise funds in support of BMC’s mission.
- Retain and upgrade existing five and six-figure donors while growing the pipeline of new donors for sustainable long-term development and partnership.
- Manage the full corporate partnership lifecycle, from proposal development and budgeting through agreement execution, fulfillment, and ongoing partner stewardship leading to additional repeat funding opportunities.
- Develop proposals, stewardship reports, engagement opportunities, and other written materials as necessary in partnership with team members in Development Communications.
- Develop deep understanding of BMC’s mission, programs, relevant departments, and priorities to effectively communicate cases for support and funding opportunities.
- Regularly collaborate with key clinical leaders and program directors to understand and support departmental and programmatic priorities, ensuring alignment with donor interests and facilitating meaningful donor engagement where appropriate. Develop compelling proposals that align with institutional and donor interest & need. Provide necessary briefing and background information to these stakeholders when needed.
- Partner with Prospect Development to research and identify new potential corporate funders, intentionally growing our donor pipeline and broadening support to the institution.
- Submit timely contact reports, proposals, and other necessary documentation using Raiser’s Edge NXT; have familiarity with fundraising CRMs.
- Partner with other development colleagues on appropriate areas for collaboration to maximize revenue for the hospital.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least five years of successful corporate partnership and development experience in a complex, mission-driven institution similar in size to BMC.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience raising funds in healthcare, public health, corporate engagement, or social services is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs):
- Success in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of five+ figure corporate prospects & opportunity development.
- Demonstrated fundraising success in one-to-one solicitations, relationship building, and portfolio management.
- Detail oriented and able to perform well under deadline while managing multiple tasks/projects effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor proposals, stewardship reports and personalized outreach materials. Proven track record in working within complex programs and managing multiple demands.
- Proven ability to make decisions, work independently, and as a team player.
- Proven ability to use metrics to drive development decisions and achieve strategic objectives.
- Enterprising professional with a keen sense of diplomacy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.

Compensation Range:
$62,500.00- $91,000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness. In addition, BMCHS offers generous total compensation that includes, but is not limited to, benefits (medical, dental, vision, pharmacy), discretionary annual bonuses and merit increases, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) savings matches, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family well-being.
