$20/hour | Part-Time or Full-Time | Morning Shifts

About the Organization:
Lucy and Jane is a matcha brand built on care, consistency, and creativity. As we gear up for our seasonal pop-up at The Current in Seaport, and we’re looking for reliable and motivated kitchen staff to help us bring fresh, delicious bombolonis to life each day.

You’ll work behind the scenes at our commissary kitchen space in Worcester, preparing, frying, filling, and packaging donuts that will be delivered to our Boston storefront. Some shifts will also include morning delivery runs in our company van.

Shift & Commitment:

• Schedule:
  4:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
  (Minimum of 4 hours/day; up to 40 hours/week)

• Paid Training:
  4–5 days before launch (approx. 4-6 hours/day)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prep ingredients, operate mixer, roll and fry donuts

• Fill and package donuts for transport

• Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment

• Lift and move supplies up to 50 lbs

• Maintain clear communication and cleanliness in a shared kitchen environment

• Occasionally drive a company delivery van to Seaport (delivery shifts only)

  • Includes transporting gray water & bakery racks back to Worcester

Delivery Driver Add-On (Some Shifts Only):

• Must have valid driver’s license

• Comfortable driving a small commercial van

• Early morning Seaport drop-off + return with supplies

• Delivery experience preferred but not required

• Are reliable, punctual, and a morning person

• Have basic cooking/kitchen experience (preferred but not required)

• Know your way around measurements, weights, and volumes

• Work well independently but communicate clearly

• Enjoy working with your hands and being on your feet
