Senior Tax Accountant – Public Accounting

A growing CPA firm just outside Boston is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to lead complex tax engagements and mentor staff. This role is ideal for a current Tax Senior or strong Senior Associate from a Big 4 or large regional firm who wants more client visibility, a faster path to Manager, and a collaborative culture.

You’ll review complex federal and state returns for corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth clients; oversee engagement planning and workflow; train and review staff work; and serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients across diverse industries.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to $120,000, depending on experience
• Bonus eligible role

What We’re Looking For:

• 4–7+ years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax
• Solid experience reviewing complex business and individual returns
• Background with multi-entity groups and multi-state filings a plus
• CPA or active CPA track strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
