A dedicated behavioral health program is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Behavioral Health Counselor (BHC) to provide therapeutic and community support services to clients with primary mental health needs. Position Summary

The BHC/LPC delivers monitoring, therapeutic interventions, and community support services. This position requires a working knowledge of mental health diagnoses, symptomology, psychotropic medications, and supportive counseling techniques. Services are delivered in a person-centered, community-based setting with periodic clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (required)

• New graduates: internship with supervised direct client contact

• Otherwise: 1 year of experience in behavioral health or counseling

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required
