Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a TV Station in Allston MA

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4 PM - 12 AM

Starting Pay is $23.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Allston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the broadcast facility, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, orderly environment during live broadcasts, special events, and high-traffic periods while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
