Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to adult surgical patients from pre-op through post-anesthesia care, within the OR.
- Maintain sterile technique, assist surgeons and anesthesia team, and manage instrumentation, counts, and specimen handling.
- Monitor patient status during anesthesia, respond to changes in vitals, and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
- Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort; uphold infection prevention and safety standards throughout the procedure.
- Document perioperative care accurately, coordinate with PACU for handoff and postoperative instructions.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- Licensure/credential requirement: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with profile
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years current Operating Room RN experience
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Other: Must have own vehicle for assignment; ability to work in an OR environment and meet standard background requirements
