Legal Assistant - Family Law
LEGAL ASSISTANT - FAMILY LAW
Job Summary : The legal assistant will provide support services to the Attorney that include:
- Handling new client inquiries and running conflict checks;
- Communicating with clients, offices and vendors;
- Maintaining Attorney’s calendar;
- Scanning and filing documents;
- Mailing and sharing documents electronically;
- Inputting case information into Clio;
- Ordering office supplies.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will:
- have at least one year of experience working in a law office ;
- be able to work independently in a fast-paced office environment;
- have strong writing skills and attention to detail;
- be organized and able to take initiative;
- be proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe; and
- be able to multitask.
Spanish speaking is desired but not required.
Part-time hours available.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, including the opportunity for additional responsibilities and training.
