Technical Lead, Backend Engineer - Cisco Cloud Control

About the role

Join our backend team to design and deliver the AI-driven backbone of Cisco Cloud Control. You’ll work across multiple stacks and domains to build integrations and features that power the next generation of Cisco’s global platform.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement both functional and non-functional features .
• Lead by example: mentor and coach junior developers .
• Drive advanced product integrations and AI-native solutions across Cisco’s product portfolio.
• Work across multiple back-end technologies: Go, Java, Node, Rust .
• Collaborate with frontend and infra teams to ensure end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant backend development experience.
• Expert knowledge of AWS and monitoring/observability tools ( ELK, Splunk, Datadog ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies – an advantage.
• Up to date with AI tools and methodologies .
• A perpetual learner with a growth mindset.
