Responsibilities
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN – Postpartum to provide compassionate and specialized care to mothers and newborns after childbirth. The ideal candidate will monitor the recovery of mothers, educate them on newborn care, and ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.
Qualifications
- Monitor and assess postpartum mothers and newborns for any complications
- Provide pain management and postpartum recovery care
- Educate mothers on newborn feeding, diapering, and sleep patterns
- Assist with breastfeeding support and lactation consulting
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and postpartum interventions as needed
- Recognize and address signs of postpartum depression or complications
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, and lactation consultants
- Support skin-to-skin contact, bonding, and early parenting education
- Ensure proper documentation and patient education before discharge

- BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
