Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Role Purpose
Corning is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive operational excellence across 24/7 warehouse operations. Partnering closely with supply chain and operations supervisors, you'll lead the hourly workforce, ensure shift-to-shift consistency, and own key functions including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse optimization.
Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Adjust staffing and equipment assignments to optimize material flow and operational efficiency; manage time and attendance for accurate payroll processing
- Identify process bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies; lead corrective actions and implement improvements
- Support inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse optimization, and cutting operations
- Proactively identify and address safety concerns; maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with ISO standards
- Lead implementation of process and procedure changes across assigned areas
- Ensure all team members receive timely, role-appropriate training and development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; or 7+ years of leadership experience in an operations environment
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
Desired Qualifications
- SAP or comparable ERP system experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience using capacity models for staffing and processing planning
- Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen)

The range for this position is $75,761.00 - $104,172.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
