About the Role:
Join Windy City Pizza LLC as an Order Taker and be the friendly voice that connects our delicious pizzas to our valued customers! In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring a seamless ordering experience while working in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders via phone and in-person with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about our offerings.
- Process payments and manage cash register transactions efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are entered correctly into the system for timely preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely service.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Stay updated on promotions and menu changes to inform customers effectively.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service preferred.
- Use of POS system is a plus (especially Foodtec or toast or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Passion for food and a desire to create a great customer experience.
